What data we collect and why

Comments
When visitors leave comments, we collect the data shown in the comments form, plus the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string (hash) made from your email may be sent to Gravatar to check if you use it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture (if any) is visible to the public next to your comment.
Media uploads
If you upload images, avoid uploading files with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download images and extract location data.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These last one year.
When you visit the login page, we set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we set cookies to save your login and display preferences. Login cookies last two days, screen-option cookies one year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login persists two weeks. Logging out removes login cookies.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is saved in your browser indicating the post ID of the article you edited. It expires after one day.
Embedded content from other sites
Articles may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you visited those websites. They may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that content (including tracking if you have an account and are logged in on that website).
Who we share your data with
Spam detection & security: Visitor comments and certain submissions may be checked by automated anti-spam and security services.
Account support: If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email to help with abuse prevention.
Service providers: Hosting, analytics, content delivery, and support providers may process data on our behalf under contract.
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we retain your data
Comments: We retain comments and their metadata indefinitely to recognize and auto-approve follow-ups.
Registered users: If you create an account, we store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except you cannot change your username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
We may also retain backups for a limited time for security and continuity.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request:
an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you provided; and
that we erase personal data we hold about you.
These requests do not cover data we must keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. To exercise your rights, contact support@glory.bet. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Where your data is sent and stored
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Data may be processed by our hosting and service providers, which can be located in various countries. Where applicable, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
How we protect your data
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including TLS/SSL encryption in transit, access controls, and routine security updates. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent changes. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where required.
